OBSESSION WITH HORSES
Born in 1985 in Soave (Verona), moved from a very young age by a deep-rooted animalistic spirit, she cultivates as self-taught her passion for oil painting and for the figure of the horse. After the classical high school and a degree in architecture in Venice, she began her profession as an architect in her family's studio. Although she is not a horsewoman at all, since 2015 the artist elects the horse as the only absolute subject of her artistic production, concealing a personal reinterpretation of German Romanticism.
ARAR: ART AND ARCHITECTURE IN THE ATELIER OF HORSES
The concept of ARAR STUDIO-ATELIER, born in 2017 from the idea of arch. Samuel Trame, who conceived a contamination between several professional figures and expressive forms in a fluid and dynamic exchange that identifies three common denominators: Quality, Ethics and Creativity. In the Atelier, located next to the architectural studio, this contamination takes concrete form in Federica Crestani's commissioned works, contextualized according to the architectural space. Right from the start, the artist espouses the concept of TEAM.
OIL PAINTING AND WIREFRAME SCULPTURE MELT TOGETHER
In her continuous material research for the experimentation of three-dimensional painting, the artist literally combines iron wire sculpture with oil painting, an intuition that will win her an award for innovation in technique at the 7th International Biennial of Visual Arts in Santa Maria di Sala (Venice).
CONTAMINATION BETWEEN ART AND PSYCHOLOGY
Due to the strongly psychological character of the paintings, the works have been subject to the protocol of aesthetic fruition, conceived by Professor Alessia Anello, during the courses of Psychology of Art held by her at the Iusve University Institute in Venice. In 2018 the artist joined the association IAAP, International Association for Art and Psychology. The collaboration with the Clinical Psychologist Emma Zonato specialized in Art Rehabilitative Therapy for acquired disability also began.
FIERACAVALLI 2019: ads campaign and Art&Cavallo
At the end of 2018, following the first exhibition at Fieracavalli, the collaboration with Veronafiere begins, the works become the protagonists of the Fieracavalli 2019 advertising campaign. ARAR ATELIER was also commissioned to curate Art&Cavallo, the first exhibition space dedicated to equestrian art at the Verona Fair, an event aimed at promoting a more ethical approach to animals.
